Yasmine Bleeth Children

It appears Yasmine has not given birth to her own children or maybe it could be that she decided to keep information about her offsprings from the public because she prefers keeping her personal life secret.

Early life and career

Bleeth was born in New York City, the daughter of Carina who was also a model and Philip Bleeth, a business proprietor. Her father Philip is of Russian-Jewish and German-Jewish descent and her mother Carina was of Algerian descent. Philip Bleeth was associated with a group of friends that included Arlo Guthrie and Alice Brock (of “Alice’s Restaurant” fame) around the time of Yasmine’s birth. Yasmine’s earliest known acting role was in a Johnson & Johnson’s No More Tears baby shampoo television commercial at age 10 months in 1969.

Yasmine appeared on Candid Camera at the age of six. Later same year she appeared with model Cristina Ferrare in a Max Factor cosmetic advertising campaign. Yasmine’s work in this campaign caught the eye of Francesco Scavullo fashion photographer, who subsequently included her and her mother in his book entitled Scavullo Women.

Total Film magazine quoted Bleeth stating, When she was a girl she used to have to force boys to kiss her. her toughest friend had to hold them down. Bleeth was cast her first film role in 1980 when she was 12 year old opposite Buddy Hackett in the feature film Hey Babe! She was in a Scope commercial with Puerto Rican group Menudo in 1983.

At age 16 Yasmine began appearing on the daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope. A few months after that show’s 1989 cancellation, Bleeth’s mother, Carina Bleeth, was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. She died within a year at the age of 47, after which Bleeth dealt with her grief, thus: she stayed home watching cooking shows and taking walks. After turning down acting offers, for eight months, after which she won the role of LeeAnn Demerest on the daytime soap opera One Life to Live.

Bleeth’s wide spread attention was brought by her role on Baywatch. People named her one of magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 1995. Bleeth was one of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World every year from 1996–2001, and FHM’s U.S. 100 Sexiest Women every year from 2000–03. Bleeth was offered other roles in television and film as a result of her role in Baywatch. She has been a featured actress in five series and has guest-starred in other shows. She continued to work as a model during her television career, frequently appearing in swimwear or lingerie. Bleeth once had her own line of swimwear called Yaz Wear.

In 2000, Bleeth accepted a starring role in the short-lived series Titans. Aaron Spelling was so eager to cast Bleeth in the role of a vixen on Titans that his company convinced CBS to grant her an early release from her Nash Bridges contract. During an interview with Dennis Hensley, she said she delighted in her over-the-top depiction of a crazed beauty queen in the 1997 TV movie Crowned and Dangerous.

She said that she will keep her crown from that film on her desk in a little lucite box. His brother tried it once and she screamed at him to take it off, saying that she get a little nasty about her crown. Following her first effort in a drug rehabilitation clinic in late 2000 Bleeth only shot one more performance, the 2003 television movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

Yasmine Bleeth may be trading in her Baywatch bikini for a jail-house jumpsuit.

The actress is facing possible drug charges after allegedly being caught with cocaine in her pocketbook following a car accident, Detroit-area police say.

Bleeth, 33, who did a stint in rehab last year for undisclosed substance abuse, spent Wednesday night in jail at the Romulus, Michigan, Police Department.

The former Baywatch pinup, who recently starred in Nash Bridges and the short-lived night-time soap Titans, was involved in a one-car accident at about 10:10 p.m., says Commander David Early. Bleeth and a friend were driving on Interstate 94, heading to the nearby Detroit Metropolitan Airport, when her car left the highway and wound up on the median.

Neither Bleeth nor her male passenger was injured in the crash.

The responding officers said Bleeth acted intoxicated but, according to Early, she didn’t appear to be under the influence of alcohol. “They conducted field sobriety tests, which she did not pass and they decided to take her into custody,” Early says.

The cops searched Bleeth’s purse and found four syringes containing what police suspect was a liquid form of cocaine, as well as a small plastic bag containing cocaine residue, Early says.

Per local procedure, the police obtained a search warrant to draw a blood sample, which was done at a hospital and sent to a police lab along with the syringes and baggie.

Early says no charges will be filed until the lab tests come back, which could take “a minimum of a few weeks.”

If the lab tests come back positive, Bleeth could be charged with misdemeanor DUI, and felongy drug posession, which carries a one- to seven-year prison sentence.

Early declined to identify Bleeth’s male companion, only to say the two were in town visiting his relatives and were on their way to the airport for a flight back to Los Angeles, where she lives. (Bleeth is reportedly dating a Detroit nightclub owner.) Her companion doesn’t face any charges.

Bleeth–who was supposed to fly out of Detroit on Tuesday, but was stranded after the hijack attacks–was released on her own recognizance Thursday morning.

Calls to her publicist Friday were not immediately returned.
