His maternal grandfather was Jewish, although he grew up in a nonreligious household.[6] Raised by his single mother, Barbara, Levy and his family, including his brother Jonathan Gutierrez Levy and sister Barbara Gutierrez Levy, immigrated to Miami, Florida when he was 14. He attended Barbara Goleman Senior high school, located in the suburb of [Miami Lakes].

Levy worked as a model for the Next Models agency and was featured in Telemundo’s two reality shows: Isla de la Tentación and Protagonistas de Novela 2. In 2005, he performed in the play La Nena Tiene Tumbao at the Centro de Bellas Artes in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
His debut on the Spanish-speaking Univision channel was in Olvidarte Jamás ‘ Venevision International production. Eres Tu and Acorralada appeared later in Mi Vida. William Levy annoyed with rumours about a romance with Maite Perroni
William Levy has lost his patience with rumours that he’s having a relationship with Maite Perroni while filming the soap Beware of the angel (Televisa). The actor said he was fed up being the talk of the town.
“I’m sorry, but I’m not going to keep talking about this because it’s the same question, like a broken record. I just want to work and be left alone and have these rumours off my back, “said the 29-year-old Cuban to Televisa shows. Rumours started when the RBD singer split with her boyfriend, and when Levy admitted he was having trouble with his marriage. Several magazines published shot of two looking romantic together, but they have argued that those pictures were taken for the soap’s promotional purposes.
“Those are photos from when we shot the soap in Acapulco, they’re not real !,” said Levy, who’s going through a difficult time with his wife Elizabeth Gutierrez.

Elizabeth Gutiérrez recently revealed the secret behind her happy love life. After 15 years of a successful relationship with William Levy, the actress has shared some of her key tips for building and maintaining a healthy partnership. During an interview with MezcalTV, the model said that one of the most important things to keep in mind is the individuality of the person you love.
“I believe that it is fundamental to respect each other’s space. Respect that each person is an individual and that you do not belong to the other. Obviously, communication too. I believe in having the same ideals and having a lot of love. Without love, there is no relationship. I think those are the most important points for me,” she contently told the show while speaking Spanish.

While talking about her and William’s children, Christopher and Kailey, the Mexican model said that they have set their own goals for 2018: “I see him [Christopher] very focused on being a professional player and I love it. I really like that he has goals, that he has that passion for something. If he succeeds or fails, his determination is worth a lot and is leading him to be a very disciplined child. And Kailey, it’s a shame to say it, but she would love to be an actress and singer, so one actor and another athlete,” she said, smiling.
The family said goodbye to 2017 with a fun trip to the mountains, where they enjoyed skiing together for a few days.
