Tracy Humphrey Biography
Tracy Humphrey is an American weather presenter based in Atlanta, Georgia. She works for WXIA-Tv, an NBC-affiliated TV station. She has also presented the weather for KPIX in San Francisco, CBS 5 Eyewitness News, WNYW Fox 5 in New York among others.

Tracy Humphrey Early Life
Tracy was born and raised in Montgomery, the capital city of the US state of Alabama. She attended the Sidney Lanier High School, a public high school in her hometown. After high school, she joined the University of Alabama. In 1995, she graduated from the campus with a degree in Accounting. Sometime later, she joined the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University. Here, she pursued a Masters in Broadcast Journalism and graduated in 1998. In addition to gaining a Masters in broadcast journalism in 1998, she also completed at least 20 semester hours of college-level coursework in the atmospheric or related sciences.
Tracy Humphrey Career
She started off her career as a weekday weather anchor for the ABC Savannah affiliate, WJCL. In addition, she also had some minor roles in WTGS and Hearts Television Inc, a Fox affiliate. She worked for the channels from 1988 August to December of the same year. After this, she joined WTVH and Granite Broadcasting as a weekend weather anchor and weather reporter. She worked in these roles from November 1999 to December 2001 based in the Syracuse area of New York.
In January 2001, Tracy Humphrey took on a job on the side as a morning weather anchor for WKBW. She did the work in the Buffalo and the Niagara, New York areas. She dropped in October, 10 months later. The month after, she became the weekend weather anchor as well as a feature reporter for WPHL and WB17- Tribune Media. After about 2 years and one month working for the channel, she dropper the role and joined WNYW and Fox Broadcasting almost immediately after.
In December of 2007, Tracy joined KPIX and Viacom, a CBS affiliate based in the San Francisco Bay area. She worked there for 3 years and 2 months as a morning meteorologist before moving to KXTV and Tegna Communications, an ABC affiliate in Sacramento, California. She spent about 1 year and 1 month as a weekend morning meteorologist and traffic anchor for both channels.
By May 2014, Tracy Humphrey had left KXTV but still remained with Tegna, but now affiliated to NBC. She has been playing the part of Meteorologist, Morning anchor, and reporter ever since then. In January 2018, she took on another role as a meteorologist for KXTV, the ABC 10 affiliate, again. She is also a member of the American Meteorological Society. She also has over ten years of professional experience in the field of Meteorology.
