Suzanne Malveaux is an American TV Journalist who was born on December 4th, 1966 in  Lansing, Michigan, USA. She was born of Floyd J. And Myrna Maria Ruiz Malveaux.

Her first job was a general assignment reporter for New England Cable News in Boston, Massachusetts. She later took a position in reporting local news for NBC affiliate WRC-TV before she joined NBC networks in 1999.

She has three siblings; Suzette M. Malveaux, Courtney M. Malveaux, and Gregory F. Malveaux. As White House correspondent, Malveaux has interviewed former presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, as well as former first lady Laura Bush.

Her coverage of presidential trips overseas has taken her to Europe, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

She moderated the 31st annual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and has also served on various panels of the NABJ where she is a member.

Malveaux later augmented her White House reporting by serving as the primary substitute anchor for The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, a two-hour-long program that airs every weekday on CNN. In 2011, she was named the dayside anchor of CNN Newsroom. In 2012, she became the host of Aspire TV network’s eight-part series, “The Root 100”.
