Stephanie McMahon Levesque was born as Stephanie Marie McMahon is an American businesswoman and a professional wrestling personality. She is also the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) of WWE where she appears as an on-screen figure and wrestler. She appears on both The Raw and SmackDown Brands.
She has worked for WWE since she was a young girl where she modeled T-shirts and other merchandise for various WWE catalogs. She then worked her way up to the receptionist and various front office jobs up to her current CBO position. Stephanie is the great-granddaughter of Vincent J. McMahon.
She is the daughter of WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and retired WWE CEO and also current Administrator of the Small Business Administration Linda McMahon. After she was born, her family moved to Greenwich Connecticut where she attended the selective Greenwich Country Day School throughout her elementary school years.
She appeared on World Wrestling Federation (WWF) merchandise catalogs, modeling, T-shirts and hats. She attended Boston University after graduating from Greenwich High School in 1994. She later earned a degree in Communications from Boston University in 1998. She took up the responsibility to work for the WWF full-time.

Stephanie kicked off her career in early 1999 as the innocent and friendly daughter of Vince McMahon. She then began an on-screen relationship with wrestler Test which led to a rivalry between test and her older brother Shane. She went on to team up with Test in a match on September 20, 1999, where they defeated Jeff Jarrett and Debra.
Her father Vince McMahon became absent in late 1999 due to injuries inflicted by Triple H. From there Stephanie and Triple H became the owners of the WWF. The period was known as the McMahon-Helmsley Era. She successfully defended her title against Lita on SmackDown on June 6, 1999.
On July 11, 2016 episode of Raw, she was announced as the commissioner of SmackDown while her brother Shane was named commissioner of SmackDown in order for them to compete against each other for the establishment of the brand extension. Stephanie returns to rally Team Raw at the Survivor Series where she will confront Braun Strowman to make business propositions.

Ronda Rousey shocks Stephanie McMahon, leaves the ring without her title
Wait, what did Ronda Rousey just do?
Moments after Rousey and Lynch had to be separated by security, Rowdy demanded a mic and face-to-face with Vince McMahon. Rousey only got one and half what she requested.
In a power move by the Raw women’s champion, Rousey just dropped her title at the feet of Stephanie McMahon following a fiery verbal confrontation between the two.
The crowd was shocked. McMahon was shocked. We were all shocked.
When it was all said and done, Rousey did deliver one of her better promos of her pro wrestling career tonight.

Ronda Rousey Seemingly Relinquishes Raw Women’s Title to Stephanie McMahon
Ronda Rousey left Stephanie McMahon, her fellow superstars and the entire WWE Universe mystified during a confrontation with the Raw commissioner.
Lynch interfered in a tag team match between Rousey and Natalya against the Riott Squad, and was “arrested” by police. After the Irish Lass Kicker was taken away, McMahon came out to reason with the Raw Women’s Champion.
Rousey demanded that Becky Lynch be inserted into the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 35, where the Baddest Woman on the Planet is set to face Charlotte Flair.
McMahon refused to give into Rousey’s demands and made it clear that Lynch would not be welcome to compete at WrestleMania. An angry Rousey berated the McMahons for not giving the fans what they wanted, and she dropped the title at Stephanie’s feet before storming out.
So it seems as though Rousey has vacated the championship for the time being, although it hasn’t been officially announced. Now, we wait and see what this means in storyline as fans continue to wait and see if Lynch will be added back into the match.
