She began by posting short raps on her Instagram account back in 2016. A video that she featured rapping over the beat from Khia’s classic My Neck, My Black (lick it) which eventually became Icy Grl. The song was first released on her Sound Cloud in the summer of 2017. She later released the music video for the song in October the same year.
The video gained an accurate sixty-four million views as of December 2018. She followed it up by releasing in that same month a freestyle rap called High Maintenance following by a clip showing her rapping the verse of the song while she was chilling in her kitchen. This clips went viral on Twitter and Instagram as well.
She then released a video of her song Focus in October 2017. She was named Tidal’s Artist of the week in January 2018 and then one of Pigeon’s & Planes Best New Artists of the Month. She was also featured in the ad for Rihanna’s cosmetic company Fenty during Super Bowl LII in February 2018.
In the same month, she signed to Warner Bros Records in Partnership with Artistry WorldWide and her own label, Icy Records. On March 16, 2018, she released her major label debut High Maintenance. It is composed of nine tracks that were produced by CashMoneyAP, Nyrell and her Cousin Zaytoven.
Her famous single Icy Grl was certified Gold in June 2018 for making sales of about 500,000 in the US. As her song Icy Girl got very famous, she continued peaking the Celebrity life higher and higher.

The couple were spotted out in Los Angeles taking a stroll in the crowd at the Rolling Loud Festival. They hung out together and watched other performers after they were done performing.
According to one person at the event, the two turned the performance into a date night.
She and Quavo started dating this summer, when she starred in his “Workin Me” video. After the visuals were released, the two were spotted all over New York Fashion Week together – and the dating rumors started.
The “Icy Grl” rapper was a guest on talk show The Real in September, and she was asked head on to be real and explain if she and the Migos rapper were an item.
