Sarah Jessica Parker is an American actress, producer and designer best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw on the series Sex and the City. The series aired from (1998 -2004). Due to this success, she earned two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards for Best actress in a comedy series and then three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Sarah was born in Nelsonville, Ohio to her mother Barbara Parker who was a nursery school operator and teacher. Her father was Stephen Parker an entrepreneur and journalist at the same time. She was one among the eight children born in her family from her mother’s first and second marriages.
Her real siblings include TimothyBritten Parker and Pippin Parker who are both actors. Her father was a native of Brooklyn and also Jewish. Her mother was from the German and some English descent. Sarah moved with her family to Roosevelt Island in Manhattan and then later moved Englewood, New Jersey.
She used to attend Dwight Morrow High School. She also attended the School of American Ballet in New York City. She was also in the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati where she attended full-time classes. Sarah also attended Hollywood High School in Los Angeles. She then returned to television for the first time in 2012 after the end of SEx and the City. She portrayed the role of Isabelle Wright in three episodes of Glee a Fox series. She currently features in the cast of the series Divorce as Frances Dufresne. The series ran from 2016- present. This role made her to be nominated for a Golden Globe award.

Sarah is now running her own production company called Pretty Matches. The company has been creating content for HBO and other channels since 2009. The company was founded by her in 2005 together with Allison Benson. This was possible after an introduction to Benson from her agent Kevin Huvane. She has also produced the series Divorce through her company and also the film Here and Now. The company’s goal is to produce more professional opportunities for women.
Sarah was also the one who had hosted the MTV Movie Awards where she appeared in fourteen different outfits during the show in 2000. The 16-year-old son of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick hit up a basketball game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, definitely taking after his Ferris Bueller star dad while the two watched the hometown New York Knicks take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
It was more than a father-son outing, too! The pair was joined courtside by The Daily Show host Trevor Noah. And none of them seemed particularly fazed by the Knicks recently trading away franchise player Kristaps Porzingis, as they smiled from ear-to-ear during the game. And while the boys are were at the basketball game, mom could be seen during the big game! Parker appeared on Sunday night in one of the many commercials during the Super Bowl.
