Rick Wilson Biography / Who Is Rick Wilson?

Rick Wilson (also known as Rick Wilson Trump or Richard Wilson) is a renowned Republican political strategist,  author and a media consultant . He is based  in Florida U.S.A . Rick has produced televised political commercials for major political figures in the country such as governors, U.S. Senate candidates, super PACs, and corporations.

Wilson has been known for his frequent guest in 2016 on political panel shows during the  United States presidential election  where he aired   serial denunciations of Donald Trump and his supporters. He was later a strategist for the Evan McMullin presidential campaign.

During an appearance on MSNBC, GOP strategist Rick Wilson was abruptly muted for seven seconds after going on an expletive-filled rant about President Trump and his supporters on Monday morning. This was after he was asked by MSNBC co-host John Heilemann during the program how the president can continue to “genuinely boast” about his high approval ratings among his party.Rick Wilson gave the response: “Cocaine’s a hell of a drug,” which brought about the drama.
“They love the fact that Donald Trump finally gives them this sort of id of the Republican Party, they’re finally given permission to say the ugly things they kind of wanted in their secret hearts for a long time, and the monster got out of its cage in terms of a lot of the populist messaging that worked to motivate Republican primary voters for a long time.” Rick said.
“There’s just a huge courage deficit in this country,” is the statement that made MSNBC  mute him for the next few seconds and he could be seen moving his fingers behind the screen. after the audio returned co-host Mika Brzezinski asked Wilson: “Are you saying that on TV?” Rick Wilson said that he wasn’t trying to while smiling later he updated  on Twitter shortly after the broadcast sharing what he said that had been censored by MSNBC.
