Miranda’s Career
In 2007, Miranda started as a weather intern at WNBC. Since then, Miranda has appeared on national and local networks including MSNBC, CNBC World, News 12 Westchester and now-defunct NBC Weather Plus. He was also an occasional meteorologist for Early Today until Weather Plus shut down in December 2008. He serves as weatherman of Weekend Today in New York since 2009, following the departure of SallyAnn Mosey in 2008 and he also serves as a host of the MegaPhone Interactive Trivia from 2014 onwards since Kaitlin Monte left for WPIX as a traffic reporter for the morning newscast in June of that year.

Miranda is a member of organizations including the American Meteorological Society, the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
