From there she made several appearances in commercials which included advertisements for Subway restaurants among others. She then made her screen debut in early 2003 after appearing in an episode of Vampire Slayer and others.
This made her become a subsequent cast in The O.C. which made its debut in August 2003. After a successful rin her character which was meant to be a one episode appearance turned to be regular. In 2005 she collected three awards one being the Choice TV Actress (Drama), the second being the Choice Hottie Female and the third was Best Onscreen TV Chemistry.

Rachel Bilson Returns to Her Fox Roots With New Wedding Dramedy Pilot
With pilot season in full swing, it looks like Fox is looking to bring a heartwarming and unique concept to life with their brand new pilot order and they’re bringing back a familiar face. Rachel Bilson, who starred on Fox’s iconic teen drama The O.C. is heading back to the network to lead a potential new series, and we have to admit that our interest is piqued.
According to Deadline, the series is tentatively titled Lovestruck and the entire first season would take place over the course of one wedding night. The dramedy would follow “the entire wedding party as we learn surprising reveals about both their present and past. We’ll see that things aren’t always what they seem and explore the complicated bonds of love, friendship and family at different stages of life.” Sounds pretty interesting, right? While there’s a lot of love at weddings, there also can be a lot of drama and history as well.
Bilson would be playing the lead role of Daisy Valentine, the bride who is described as “a bolt of pure sunshine who works in music education.” Shameless vet Steve Kazee will star as her groom Alex Fletcher. Alex is “a charming, caring and earnest music journalist who has a way with words.” If you ever watched Shameless than you know that Kazee is one talented musician. The series was created by Californication’s Tom Kapinos and the pilot will be written by him as well. Empire’s Sanaa Hamri will direct.
Other pilots hoping to make their way to series at Fox include Deputy, a wild west drama starring Bex Taylor-Klaus and Stephen Dorff and Prodigal Son, a drama starring The Walking Dead’s Tom Payne and Michael Sheen.

Rachel Bilson poked fun at her longtime pal Rami Malek with a hilarious throwback picture on Thursday — just weeks before the actor finds out if he’ll become a part of Hollywood history at the 91st Academy Awards.
The 37-year-old actor was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The role recently earned him a Golden Globe for best actor in a drama, causing fans to speculate whether it will boost his chances of taking home an Oscar on February 24.
“Thank you to Freddie Mercury for giving me the joy of a lifetime,” said “Bohemian Rhapsody” star Rami Malek said after accepting the Globe. “This is for you, gorgeous.”

The actress gushed about her friend’s success while sharing a snap of the pair as teenagers with their arms around one another. Malek was sporting a collared corduroy coat, spiky hair and a gold chain.
“Hey @ramimalek where’d you get that gold chain? #tbt #oscarworthy#dontforgetthelittlepeople,” Bilson, 37, captioned the epic post, which has since garnered more than 75,000 likes.
Many agreed Malek looks almost “unrecognizable” in the picture, leading them to question whether it’s actually his identical twin Sami Malek who’s now a school teacher.
“That’s his twin bro,” one woman wrote on the Instagram post.
“That looks like Sami lol,” another joked.
“U sure its not sami ??? we need the bros to help us here 😭,” a third added.
It wouldn’t be entirely surprising. Malek pointed out him and his brother looked a lot alike when they were younger.
“We were troublemakers as kids. We did some bad stuff,” Malek explained in a 2015 interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” adding that Sami once asked him to attend a college class in his absence. Of course, Malek said he agreed, joking that he “born to do this.”
