Presley Gerber Says the Modeling Industry Is ‘a Lot Less Lonely’ with Sister Kaia by His Side

The model, reveals that the best part of breaking into the fashion industry is sharing the experience with his younger sister Kaia.

“We’re a close family, especially me and my sister, so it’s definitely cool,” Gerber told PeopleStyle at the Pepsi Generations Live Pop-Up Museum in Minneapolis.

And the pair’s bond has grown even stronger as the two navigate the fashion world together.

“We get to travel together half of the time, so it makes it a lot less lonely,” says Gerber, who recently paid tribute to his sister with a tattoo.

Since his runway debut, Gerber’s resumé already includes appearances on catwalks for Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Tommy Hifiger and numerous campaigns, including one for Calvin Klein alongside his 17-year-old sister. In 2018, he teamed up with his supermodel mom Cindy Crawford for Pepsi’s Super Bowl LII commercial.

His success even caused the honor roll student to postpone college. “It’s not looking like I’m going to be heading there any time soon,” he admitted.

But much to his mother’s delight, the scholastic step “is definitely still in the back of my mind somewhere,” Gerber says. “I wanted to go for a minute and then I just started working. And now I’m having so much fun, it’s like: Don’t fix it if it’s not broken.”
