Preacher Lawson is an American comedian born on 14th March 1991 in Portland, Oregon, United States. He was a finalist on the 12th season of America’s Got Talent and in 2019 he is on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”.

Preacher was raised in Memphis, TN but before the age of 10, he had moved 20 times. He says that if one asks him the city he is from he would say Orlando, FL as that is where he grew as a comedian.
According to his website, he says he had to run how to adapt due to switching schools most of the time. He learned about different people and culture s but he says he noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter and that inspired him to be a comedian.

Preacher is in a relationship with singer Janine who is a songwriter, singer, producer and a band lead vocalist. During their one year anniversary he posted their photo on Instagram and captioned it:

Preacher joined America Got Talent in 2017 in his first performance he delivered a cool family comedy which earned him a standing ovation from the judges. He went through the finale although he did not win.
