Nicole Krasean Biography
Nicole Krasean is an American journalist working as a reporter/assignment manager for WTWO News. Nicole grew up in South Bend and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington, where she spent the majority of her life.
She interned at the Indiana Daily Student while she was a student at Indiana University before moving into broadcasting as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network Student U and a host for a weekly WIUX sports show.
She moved to Terre Haute after graduating from IU in May 2017 and working as an intern in the Indianapolis Colts’ video production department.
As an active parishioner at St. Benedict Catholic Church and a member of the League of Terre Haute, an organization that provides assistance to schoolchildren in Vigo County, Nicole has established herself in the Wabash Valley.
Nicole enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, and traveling with her family and friends when she isn’t working. She is an energetic avid supporter and roots for her place of graduation Hoosiers, ISU football, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Chicago Fledglings.

Nicole Krasean WTWO News
Krasean is a special assignments reporter and the WTWO assignment manager. In February of 2018, Nicole became a Multimedia Journalist for the WTWO team.
Before becoming the weekend anchor and eventually taking over as the morning show anchor in January 2020, she reported on news and sports for a year. At the end of February 2022, she took on the role of manager.
In 2019, Nicole received the Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Award in the category of “General News Story.” In 2021, she was a finalist for the IBA Spectrum Award in the category of “Investigative Reporting” for a story about the unsolved murder of Lowell Badger, a man from Sullivan County.
