Natalie Walters Biography
Natalie Walters’ elementary school yearbook has “meteorologist” as the answer to “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
She has loved the weather ever since she was a young girl, and she is thrilled to be in the Miami Valley as Dayton 24/7 Now’s Chief Meteorologist.
Growing up in the Midwest is what sparked her love for weather. She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she was able to experience heat waves ice storms, and severe weather as well.
She took her passion for weather to the University of Missouri, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Atmospheric Science and minor in Mathematics.
While she was studying, she chased storms with the Mizzou Storm Chase Team and she gained on-air experience at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri, as a fill-in weather anchor.
