She is a Filipina-American born in Subic Bay, Philippines. However, she is what you call a “third culture kid” having lived overseas most of my life including Japan, Singapore, and Guam because of her father’s U.S. military ties. After graduating from high school in Singapore, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, she is also active in the Filipino-American community with hosting events such as “For The Love of The Philippines” a televised San Diego Benefit for Typhoon Haiyan victims, the Miss Philippines California Pageant and the Fil-Am Festival in San Diego.
