Holly Emery Biography
Holly Emery is an American journalist working as a multimedia journalist for WLBT NBC3 News. Emery was born in Clio, Michigan, although she spent her formative years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and South Korea.
Since she was a senior in high school, Holly has been passionate about journalism and storytelling. She met people from all over the world while she was living abroad and gained knowledge of their cultures and experiences.
Her guiding principle has been “everyone has a unique story and should be able to share it” ever since. In May 2021, she received her degree from Mississippi State University. #HailState!
She conducted internships with WGXA in Macon, Georgia, and Hail State Productions at MSSTATE while she was a student at State. She has additionally appeared on the MSU student television program “TAKE30.” Holly enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, cooking, and traveling.

Her first job as a news reporter was at WCBI News in Columbus, Mississippi, where she covered everything from breaking news to crime, inspirational tales, and political ones. She decided it was time to visit another city after six months!
