Parry was the West Coast Bureau Chief for MTV News. She co-produced Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and Adam Sandler’s The Longest Yard for MTV Films.

In December 2018, Parry was put on leave following the publication of an exposé written by Variety, the result of a four-month-long investigation into claims of regular workplace abuse and harassment. As a result, Live Nation hired an outside firm, Paul Hastings LLP, to conduct an internal investigation. On February 21, 2019, she was fired from Live Nation Productions but denied the allegations.
