Fiona Daghir Biography
Fiona Daghir was beyond excited to join the Eyewitness News morning team and experience life here in the California sunshine.
She grew up across the country in a small town in rural central Pennsylvania, just outside of Amish country! From a very young age, she always had a big sense of curiosity and strived to connect with people from all walks of life.
When she is not at work, she is most likely in a yoga class, at the gym, or exploring California. Experiencing different lifestyles in both small towns and metropolitan areas has fueled my passion for understanding different cultures.
She believes that every person has a story to tell and every person has the right to be informed about what’s going on in the world.
She is incredibly grateful that it is her job to carry out this mission. Thank you, Kern County, for welcoming her into your household television every weekday morning!

She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and a minor in digital media trends and analytics.
During her college years, I was lucky enough to land internships in three amazing cities. I interned in the production departments at WPLG Channel 10 News in Miami, E! News in Los Angeles, and NBC 4 in New York City.
