Eric Onyechefule ecstatic to be in the Miami Valley as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for FOX45 News. Covering sports has been a dream of his since he could remember.
His dream of becoming a sports anchor started when he was little watching the local sports anchors in Boston, Massachusetts.
Growing up in Boston, sports mean so much to them. He took his desire to learn more about the business by graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with his bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Mass Media.
He later went on to get his master’s in Sports Communications and Media from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Those learning experiences helped him get his first job at KWES-TV in Midland, Texas as a reporter and assisted with covering high school football in the home of Friday Night Lights!
If he is not at work you can catch him at Kroger (He loves to eat!) or he is binging Law and Order SVU episodes and trying to catch up with his Boston sports teams.
