EarthGang Tease New “Mirrorland” Single Dropping Next Week
The road to “Mirrorland” is about to begin.
EarthGang’s Mirrorland is quietly one of the year’s most anticipated projects, at least to those in the know. Dreamville’s own Johnny Venus and Doctor Dot have been putting in work for a minute. Now that last year’s trifecta of Rags, Robots, and Royalty has had time to settle, the next stop looks to be on the horizon.
As it happens, that stop is Mirrorland, a self-professed movie, apt to reveal the secret correlation between color and sound, as well the projected bouncing distance of the light. The rollout has officially begun, as the group has emerged to tease the project’s new single, which officially drops next week.
As of now, the duo has chosen to keep a few things close to the chest, including the song’s title, or whether it features any guest appearances. Still, it’s good to know that Mirrorland is en route, as that likely means a release date will closely follow. Respect to EarthGang, and if you’re still sleeping on the pair of Atlanta lyricists, there’s still time to wake up.

EarthGang & Young Thug Visit “Mirrorland” On “Proud Of U”
Earthgang kick off the road to “Mirrorland” with a Young Thug-assisted banger.
The road to EarthGang’s Mirrorland is nearing its conclusion. The Atlanta duo made up of Johnny Venus and Doctor Dot, are in the finishing stages of their biggest project yet. As it happens, the album is also shaping up to be Dreamville’s first big drop of the year, a likely leadoff to a loaded campaign. Now, EarthGang has come through with a new single called “Proud Of U,” enlisting Young Thug for the occasion.
Thugger and EarthGang previously linked up during J. Cole’s KOD tour, where they bonded over GTA sessions and mutual admiration of the craft. Upon hitting the studio, the trifecta came through with a Venus produced banger, which highlights the scope of their stylistic versatility. Kicking things off with his melodic and soulful presence, Venus takes to the up-tempo instrumental with an infectious refrain. Thugger steps up next, spitting bars in celebration of his love interest, once again reiterating his deadly combination of “cadence and nice teeth.”
