Q: What are the projects that you are currently working on? Please tell us a little about it.
Danielle: I am currently working on a music promotion for the artist called Me’chelle and staring in her new music video. I am also on the cast of following me the reality TV show.
Q: Please tell us what do you feel is your biggest achievement?
Danielle: My biggest achievement was winning national American miss pageant and becoming 2015 Miss Florida preteen.
Q: When and why did you start your modeling career?
Danielle: I started modeling the summer of 2015 after I won Miss Florida, I was approached by a company called BMG and I signed a two-year contract with them.
Q: Besides singing and modeling, what are you passionate about?
Danielle: I am very passionate about making our world a better place. I want to put an end to cyberbullying and to help find research and cures for the children and people dealing with cancer.
Q: How do you prepare for Miss Florida Jr. Preteen competition?
Danielle: I prepared by buying a formal dress, by practicing the interview question with my mom. I also have to prepare a one-minute introduction about myself and explain my goals and hobbies. I do this by standing in a mirror and watching myself do it. This helps me fix my problems.
Q: Tell us about your performance on the app musical.ly
Danielle Cohn: I started musically at a rough time in my life. I was just kicked out of my dad’s house. So I started musically to clear my mind. I got my first feature in February. Then I was crowned in March at 150K and been growing ever since. I have 46 features and close to 4 million followers. Musically has changed my life.
Q: If you could travel the world with anyone whom would you take?
Danielle: If I could travel anywhere with anyone I would take my mother she is the only person I would love to experience that with.
Q: Please tell us what do you feel is the biggest challenge in your modeling career?
Danielle: My biggest challenge in modeling is my height I am very short.
Q: So many teen celebrities are committed to public service, setting a great example for their peers in terms of being involved with charities and the community. What causes are important to you, and what do you do to support them?
Danielle Cohn: My biggest cause is to help out with the children miracle hospital. I help make teddy bears for the children every year and bring them to the hospital. I bring them toys for Christmas. I want to start my own fundraiser one day to help the children miracle hospital.
Q: As a teen actress, how do you strike the balance between schoolwork and your career?
Danielle: Being an actress/ social media start and balancing school can be really hard. I am currently enrolled in virtual school so that makes it easier for me while I am traveling. My school work comes first. My goal is to attend Yale one day.
Q: If you have the chance to choose any other stars at your age to be your classmate, whom would you like to?
Danielle: Classmates I would choose are Matthew Scraf, Christian Llama, Landon Barker, Jayden B, Hayden Summerall, Loren Grey, and of Zach Clayton.
Q: We have heard a lot of your songs on Musical.ly. Do you plan to become a pop singer and release your own album or EP?
Danielle: Yes I do want to become a singer and produce my own song. Currently in talks with a producer right now.
Q: What have you learned since you became a celebrity?
Danielle: One thing I have learned is to always be yourself never change for anyone. You can also learn who you can really trust.
Q: Now for my last question: what do you want to say to those who wish to pursue their modeling careers?
Danielle: Never give up keep going. Modeling is not just for tall people and there is so much more you can do. Make sure to be confident and always believe in yourself. The thing I always say is nothing is impossible the word itself is possible.
