Daniel Bowen is a Melbourne resident, best known for having been the president of the Public Transport Users Association (PTUA), and the author of the blog, Diary of an Average Australian. He was born in 1970. He was educated at Melbourne High School and Monash University.

He remains on the Committee of the PTUA.
