Cody Nickel Biography
Cody Nickel is an American journalist working as a meteorologist for WRBL CBS News. Cody moved on from Mississippi State University in May 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences with a Broadcast Meteorology accentuation and a minor in Communication.
While not working, you can find Cody climbing around Pine Mountain, playing with his Shih Tzu named Wiggle, dabbling around on PCs, and pulling for his Mississippi State Bulldogs on game day. #HailState. Cody’s old neighborhood is Warm Springs, Georgia.

Cody joined WRBL in January 2015 as a part-time fill-in Meteorologist and was subsequently elevated to full-time Digital Content Producer in August 2015.
In May 2018, Cody was added to the end-of-the-week newsgroup as a Weekend Meteorologist. While at Mississippi State, he was important for the East Mississippi Chapter of the National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society.
Cody stays an ongoing individual from the National Weather Association. He was an assistant at WTVM during the summers of 2012 and 2013.
