Casey Cott Biography

Casey Cott (Casey Morton Cott) is an American actor and singer born on 8th August 1992 in New York City, New York. He is known for his role as Kevin Keller on The CW series Riverdale.

Casey began his acting career in local theatres in Ohio, he appeared in productions of Bloody Andrew Jackson and Romeo and Juliet, among others.

Casey got involved in the regional theatre while he was studying at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and also worked on some University productions. He appeared in a play Parade at the New Hazlett Theater, Pittsburgh in 2014 alongside his classmates. In the same year he was involved in the production of Small Engine Repair at Barebone Productions.

Casey performed as Moses at the maiden concert reading of Stephen Schwartz’s musical project -The Prince of Egypt at the Bay Street Theater, Sag Harbor, New York in August 2016.

Casey plays the role of Kevin Keller, the first openly gay character in the history of Archie Comics, on CW’s series Riverdale. Casey started as a recurring character, but after the first Season of the series he became a regular.

On 12th March 2017 Casey revealed in a Facebook video that he had initially auditioned for the roles of Jughead Jones and Archie Andrews but got that of Kevin instead.
