Brandon Lee Biography
Brandon Lee (born on February 1, 1965, in Oakland, California, U.S ) was an American actor and martial artist. He was the only son of martial artist and actor Bruce Lee and teacher Linda Lee Cadwell, the grandson of Cantonese opera singer Lee Hoi-Chuen, and brother of Shannon Lee.
Brandon Lee started his career with a supporting role in the 1986 ABC television film Kung Fu: The Movie.
After he became a leading man in low-budget action films made outside of the US during the mid-to-late 1980s, such as Legacy of Rage and Laser Mission. In 1992, he landed his breakthrough role as Eric Draven in The Crow, based on the comic book of the same name, which would be his final film.

On March 31, 1993, only days away from completing the film, Lee died on the set of The Crow after being shot by a faulty prop gun that fired the tip of a dummy round that was accidentally lodged in the chamber.
He died at the age of 28 years old.

Brandon Lee Career | Education
He spent the first eight years of his life in Hong Kong. He was learning about martial arts from his father, martial arts expert and famed actor Bruce Lee. After the father’s untimely death, Brandon, his mother Linda Lee, and his sister Shannon Lee moved to Los Angeles. He attended high school in Los Angeles, where he realized that he had acting ability along with his inherited martial arts skills. He continued his interest in acting at Emerson College in Massachusetts, where he majored in theatre. Having chosen an acting career, Lee took his work seriously. Bradon studied at the Strasberg Academy. His first professional job as an actor came at the age of twenty when casting director Lynn Stalmaster asked him to read for a CBS television film, Kung Fu: The Movie (1986). Brandon first role in a feature film was Legacy of Rage (1986) (aka “Legacy of Rage” (1986)) for D.M. Films of Hong Kong, followed by a co-starring role in Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991).

In 1990, Lee met Eliza “Lisa” Hutton at director Renny Harlin’s office, located at the headquarters of 20th Century Fox. Lee and Hutton moved in together in early 1991 and became engaged in October 1992.
At the time of Lee’s death, Hutton was working as a casting assistant and was on set of The Crow so much that she was later credited with being Lee’s on-set assistant.
