Ava Marie is an american Meteorologist. She is the weekday morning Meteorologist for WBAL-TV 11 network which is an NBC affiliate based in Baltimore.During one of her assignments, Ava got to fly with the Blue Angels, which she considers a great honor and privilege.

Ava grew up in Mile High, Denver alongside her two other sisters. Her interest in weather began when she was still a little girl. While in high school, she studied cinematography & also played soccer and softball. She has always loved to ski and has also learned how to snowboard. She is conversant in Spanish & her favorite subjects are Math and Science. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology.

Her first job was right in high school when she worked at the front desk of a local recreational facility. Here, she processed memberships and coached kids in their sports. For meteorology, she started her career off as an intern working at KMBC, a sister station for WBAL Hearst, based in Kansas City. While there, she used to forecast tornadoes.
She then went in to work at 6 News in Lawrence, Kansas as a meteorologist.
During the course of her career, she has appeared on major networks such as CBS, YES Network, FOX Sports, ABC World News Now & the New England Sports Network.
Currently, she is working at WBAL Insta-Weather Plus Forecast Center alongside John Collins, Tonny Pann and Tom Tasselmyer.
