Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and Internet personality. 6ix9ine is best known for his rainbow-themed looks, tattoos, aggressive style of rapping, public feuds with fellow celebrities, legal issues.
He rose to fame in 2017 after the release of his debut single “Gummo”, which was certified platinum by the RIAA and In 2018 he released his debut mixtape, Day69, which topped at number 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Tekashi’s criminal activities have been under federal investigation for the last five years. In 2015 pleaded guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance. He was before charged with three counts of the offense. February 2015 he had physical contact with a 13-year-old girl and later distributed videos of the what he was doing online as part his music video. The incident has three parts. In the first part, “the child is seen engaging in oral sexual intercourse with the separately charged defendant Taquan Anderson, while Takashi stands behind the child smacking her on the buttocks and making a thrusting motion with his pelvis. The child is naked in the video. The second part shows the child sitting on Tekash’s lap while Anderson gropes her breasts, and the third part she sits naked across the laps of Anderson and Takashi.

He was charged with federal RICO and firearms charges, including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery, and faces up to life in prison.
